George Ochota
Managing Director

George has been in the construction industry since 1970 and his extensive experience includes management of all aspects of construction projects in commercial, industrial, civil engineering and institutional sectors. He took over Co Design Construct in 2009 after 23 years at Hindmarsh Construction and manages all aspects of the company, which has grown to undertaking over $8m of commercial fitout and construction works per annum. George has performed the role of Principal Representative on projects with total values up to $100m throughout his career.


Dave McHenry
Project Manager / Contract Administrator

Dave joined Co Design Construct in 2011 after emigrating from Canada and has undertaken a Project / Site Manager role on several of our projects. He is also adept in Site Safety, Contract Administration and Estimating and provides this service in addition to his Project Management role. His personable nature , time management and communication skills have resulted in many positive project outcomes, for both our clients and subcontractors.


Emily Cresswell
Estimator / Designer / Contract Administrator

Emily joined Co Design Construct in 2010 after completing studies in Interior Design. Beginning in an administration role, she developed an aptitude for Estimating, Contract Administration and Project Coordination, and has been involved in nearly all of our projects in one form or another during her time. She also provides support to clients requiring design advice, and has undertaken several design and construct projects. Emily's inquisitive and meticulous nature has led to a strong knowledge of the technical aspects of construction and management systems. Emily is currently working part time while she raises her young family.


Tony Mazzotta
Site Manager

Tony has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, beginning as a carpenter and joiner, and progressing to the role of Site Manager. Prior to joining Co Design Construct in 2015, he worked with both Mossop Construction and ME Pine Carpenters in a Site Manager role. He is a straight forward person who communicates well with people from all different backgrounds and is highly motivated, especially in a team environment when decision making and providing clearly defined outcomes is paramount. He also enjoys a hands on approach when necessary, and has a vast and general trade knowledge in many aspects of building.


Margaret McFarlane
Accounts / Administration Manager

Margaret joined Co Design Construct in 2011 after 26 years at Hindmarsh Construction. She is a very experienced accounts and administration manager and keeps Co Design running day to day. Margaret is generally your first point of contact when contacting the office and undertakes all of our accounts payable and receivable work along with general administration. She is a great support to the rest of the team.


Adam Rasheed
Project Manager / Estimator / Contract Administrator

Adam joined Co Design Construct in 2020 after completing a Bachelor of Built Environments / Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) at the University of South Australia. Adam has built on the knowledge from his studies and previous experience working for Hendy Group and City of Tea Tree Gully Council, and has developed into a proficient Project Manager, Estimator and Contract Administrator. His eagerness to learn and excellent communication skills have proven him to be an asset both on site and in the office.


Gary Cummings
Small Projects Manager / Estimator

Gary has been with Co Design for many years as a carpenter / joiner and has recently moved into a new role managing and estimating our small projects. His excellent communication skills, trade knowledge and hands-on approach is complimented by his thorough understanding of project requirements. Gary is highly regarded by colleagues, subcontractors and clients alike.


Peter Chomel
Site Manager

Peter joined Co Design Construct in 2020 with experience as a residential carpenter, and more recently as a site supervisor on commercial projects such as Tea Tree Gully TAFE and Centrelink Alice Springs. He works alongside our project managers to ensure that our projects are well-directed, well-communicated and finished to a high standard.


Ken Watt
Site Manager

Prior to joining Co Design Construct in 2021, Ken had over 40 years of experience in the construction industry as a supervisor for the likes of Kennett, Candetti Constructions, Hansen & Yuncken and Marshall & Brougham. He is experienced in all facets of site supervision, from the day to day coordination of trades and subcontractors, to OHS&W, First Aid, Contract Administration and communicating with clients, architects and project consultants.


Damian Raphael
Project Manager / Site Manager

Damian had been in the construction industry for over two decades prior to joining Co Design Construct in 2015. He has worked in varying roles, beginning as a draftsman before advancing to contract administrator, site manager and project manager. He has worked for a varied list of organizations including Promat Fire Proofing, Jackman Gooden Architects, Hindmarsh Construction, Cox Construction and Majestic Hotels Group.
